GREATER Manchester Housing First Programme Lead Emily Cole will be part of a panel on homelessness at this year’s HOMES UK conference in November.
The conference, being held at the ExCeL London on November 25-26, brings the housing sector together for a series of workshops and events.
Emily will be part of an expert panel talking around the topic of homelessness and the challenges of setting up the pilot, learning in the first year, delivering the pilot through the Covid-19 pandemic and the transition planning for year two.
Emily said: “I’m honoured to have been invited to join the panel at HOMES UK to talk about the pilot and the great work we’ve done in Greater Manchester.
“As one of three national pilots, our mission is to create the blueprint for other Housing First pilots to follow when delivering at scale in the future.
“I’m excited to be able to share my experiences working in the pilot with people working in the sector to try and help the most vulnerable in society.”
