Our Co-production Panel
Our panel members meet regularly to provide their insight and guidance on the design and delivery of the GM Housing First Programme. Each member has shared a short reflection on what co-production means to them - you can read their thoughts below.

Eugene
What does co-production mean to me?
It is a privilege to be involved in this project, especially considering I am from as similar background and basically have full life experience in homelessness. I can fully relate to anybody who has been in, or is in similar circumstances.

Jamie
What does co-production mean to me?
Meeting positive people in similar situations with good, new, and improved attitudes.
Trying to help others and give advice.
Advocate for others if possible – I wouldn’t want other people to go through what I went through.

Lisa
What does co-production mean to me?
It means I can put all my lived experience of negatives into positives to work towards making positive changes to the system.
It is an opportunity to socialise with people who are as passionate as I am about helping the future generations.
It has helped me with my mental health, depression and anxiety. I am much better now that I have a more positive attitude about things. It has stopped me from relapsing as I now feel I have something worthwhile to focus on to get messages across.

Mark
What does co-production mean to me?
Meeting other people that have been in a similar situation to myself.
Understanding my own feelings, and feeling safe and comfortable.
Sharing ideas and giving my opinions.
Not feeling judged or stigmatised.

Rik
What does co-production mean to me?
It means a lot because it sorted me out.

Sophie
What does co-production mean to me?
Hopefully making a change for future generations. And showing others that they can also achieve greatness!
