Emily to speak at Welsh conference

GM Housing First Programme Lead Emily Cole will be a key speaker at the Housing Cymru Conference 2026 next month.

Emily will feature in a session called Learning from across the border: Housing First in the Liverpool and Greater Manchester city regions alongside her counterpart from the Liverpool City Region Sarah Goodwin.

The session will feature how Housing First in GM has developed over the last few years including the importance of political buy-in/leadership, housing supply, partnerships with other public services and how easy/difficult it is to deliver truly trauma informed / person centred approaches.

The session will take place on July 2 at the Temple of Peace in Cardiff.
