Greater Manchester Housing First is all about partnerships and collaboration.
And it’s through one such partnership that we gained our latest home, which will house another person who has been working with the Greater Manchester Housing First pilot.
Arawak Walton has refurbished a property formerly owned by Great Places, the lead partner in the GMHF pilot, in Manchester, and made one of the five apartments available to the pilot.
The Lord Mayor of Manchester Cllr Abid Latif Chohan and Cllr Suzanne Richards, who is Executive Member for Housing and Regeneration were joined by guests and VIPs as the property was officially unveiled.
All the flats have been beautifully finished and the Housing First flat has been fully furnished providing a home ready for accommodation.
